This all-ages event, presented in conjunction with Common Threads, the guild for local Spinners and Dyers, demonstrates all stages of hand-crafted historic wool production starting with the shearing of sheep and through the processes of carding, spinning, weaving, and knitting. You’ll be able to try some of these handcraft tasks yourself. Farm animals, a natural dyes display, handcrafts for sale, and refreshments for purchase are all part of the day, as are tours of the c. 1810 Hull family home currently undergoing restoration.
